Well, hello there!
I’m Rachel - a graphic designer and illustrator in Pittsburgh, PA. A few quick facts about me:
• I geek out over all things science-related
• I’ll crack up over a good pun
• I’ve been known to go on for too long about how much I love cats
Want to know more about me as a designer? Visit my about page!
My featured project is a series of illustrations I did for the Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics, hosted at Carnegie Mellon University. Illustrations were used in the promotion of the event, in addition to a logo I designed. Check out some more images from this project!

Resources For artists
Last year was the first year that I started selling my work at craft markets. It was an intimidating undertaking (producing enough art, creating a display, figuring out pricing), but one of the hardest parts was knowing which markets to do. Some events were smooth and successful, while others were messy and poorly attended. I've polled some other makers and reflected on my own experience last year to compile a list of some of our favorite regional art markets. I haven't participated in all of these events yet, but would like to work towards doing so! Please use this list as a resource, and send me comments/suggestions for other events to add.
